The ABCs of collecting by type

(find more information about packaging containers at kuhuviia.ee)

Compost biowaste or order a container for biowaste. Biodegradable waste becomes good compost for plants.

Collect paper and cardboard separately and put them in the designated containers. Waste paper can be used to make new paper and cardboard, egg cartons, notebooks, newspapers, toilet paper, wrapping paper, etc.

Collect the packaging separately and take the designated packaging to the container. Take bottles/cans with a deposit label to the return point. Plastic bottles are used to make new plastic bottles, floorboards, garden furniture, fence posts, fleeces and, for example, football shirts. Tin cans are used to make new cans, car parts, construction parts, screws and nuts, pipes, containers, fences and tools. Glass bottles are used to make new bottles and jars, vases, platters, bowls and other glass products.
